Some of the things you can do in the Kin app, and how to do them.


How to add your bank details to receive payments


You can add your bank details easily so that people in your group/s can pay you. You can use your own personal cheque or saving account. If you need a hand at creating a group and adding people, here's how.

Adding your bank details


  1. From the main screen, select the profile settings icon icon_profile_b_w.png top left.
  2. On the profile settings screen, select add account to get payments.

  3. On the next screen, select add.
  4. Choose your bank from the list, or enter your bank name in the search field.

  5. Add your branch code. If your bank has a universal branch code, that branch code will be populated already. Select next when done. 
  6. Enter your bank account number, and select done.
  7. On the next screen, confirm that your details are correct, and select save when done.
  8. Once you've entered your bank details successfully, they'll display on the main settings screen. You're now ready to receive payments from people in your group/s.

Editing or deleting your bank details


  1. From the main screen, select the profile settings icon icon_profile_b_w.png top left.
  2. On the profile settings screen, select edit right below your bank details.
  3. To change any of your bank details, edit your bank account number, bank or branch code.
  4. Select save when done.
  5. If you'd like to delete your bank account completely, select delete account at the bottom left of the edit screen.

      NOTE: If you delete your account details, you won't be able to undo the delete. You also won't be able to get any payments through the Kin app until you enter new bank details.
